Shipping within the UK

At The Scratched Glass Repair Company, we aim to use the most reliable and cost effective methods to ensure that your purchase reaches you quickly and safely.

Standard delivery is via Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded for all items under 2 Kilos to be delivered in the UK. Postage charges are calculated by the total weight of the order.
Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded and Next Day Courier delivery options are available at checkout for an additional charge.

For orders over 2 Kilos, we dispatch orders via DPD Couriers. This service usually guarantees next day delivery, before 17.30 - Monday - Friday. This service is not available on Saturdays, any purchase made after 2pm on a Thursday afternoon will be delivered on the following Monday.

Please note that we will only become aware of an order not being delivered, once you have informed us that it has not arrived.

European and International Shipping

For European and International deliveries our standard service is Royal Mail Airsure. Shipping charges are calculated by the total weight of the order. Orders will be shipped up to 2 Kilos and in multiples of 2 Kilo parcels thereafter. Please note: We will not be responsible for items 'lost in post' unless the International Signed for service option has been selected at checkout.

For Large or Trade Orders - alternative shipping methods are available and quotes for this can be provided on request.

Non Delivered Items / Lost in Post - Many years of experience have taught us that if an item is inadvertently misdirected in the post, it can take up to 10 days to reach it intended destination within the UK (20 days International or Europe) For this reason, we operate a 10 day 'Lost in Post' policy. This is measured from the date of dispatch. It is unusual for items to go astray in the post as Royal Mail are usually very reliable. If your item/s have still not arrived with you after this 10 day period, please contact us and we will issue a replacement or refund to you dependant on stock levels.
No liability is accepted for loss arising from any delay arising from any delay in dispatch or delivery however caused.

Returns

On occasion, as with any retailing business, an item may appear to be faulty. In this event, you should return the item to us to be tested. Should the item prove to be faulty, we will replace or refund the item as appropriate. Items that prove not to be faulty will be returned to you. You will be kept informed throughout this process. To ensure that items being returned reach us safely, please send them via recorded mail. Return postage costs for faulty items will be refunded to you.

We only accept returns authorised by staff at The Scratched Glass Repair Company. Any returns sent back without prior notification will not be accepted and retuned to sender. Please mark the returned items for the attention of Customer Services, The Scratched Glass Repair Company, 10 Ringwood Drive, Rubery, Birmingham, West Midlands, B45 0BJ.  Please list a short description of the reason for return.

Disclaimer – The Scratched Glass Repair Company will not be responsible for any items being returned to us that are not received or that are not returned in the correct manner. We are not responsible for any losses in the mail while returning returned items. Any returned items that show signs of abuse or intentional damage will be refused and returned at the senders own cost.

Shipping within the UK

Any cancelation of an order must be made before 3pm on the day of order.  Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled and should be return under the terms of our returns policy.
